Cockett Group are pleased to confirm their attendance at this years - Maritime Week Africa, which has been created to bring together suppliers, regulators with international traders and buyers aiming to develop business in Africa.
This year’s programme will focus on what Africa is doing to prepare for the 2020 global 0.50% sulphur cap. It will examine the options for African refiners and suppliers and look at bunker quality issues.
It will look at in-shore and off-shore bunkering operations and the challenges and opportunities they create, especially in West Africa. And it will highlight the increasingly important Blue Economy, on which the entire maritime industry depends.
Legal, regulatory, political, technical, operational and environmental issues will all be covered in what promises to be a fascinating Africa-centred conference.
Attending the conference in Ghana will allow Cockett to attend the numerous networking events, meet our clients with whom we have an existing relationship with and discover new business contacts and opportunities.
